Note: please watch this quick and great video that summarizes everything you need to know about liposonix, its side effects, cost, reviews, effectiveness, and more:
It's really funny when you see one of the videos on youtube where a fat girl was talking about liposonix, I believe her blog is called wasted fashion wordpress or something like that. She is a Singaporean blogger (the interview was close to the merlion in Marina Bay) definitely thinks it is a a better option than liposuction (like most people). They say it safer, less invasive, and has immediate results; mostly what they see is reduction on her abdomen fat like 1 or 2 inches in a single treatment. But gosh..doesn't she know that that is majorly only water weight not fat, at least 90% of it. The device I think only covers a 6x6 cm area, in addition it is impossible to target even get rid of fat under your subcutaneous skin tissue (read here) in like 60 minutes. It's impossible my friend. To do that there are only 2 painful things that you have to do. First is through prolong calorie restriction, second through invasive cosmetic surgery procedures like tummy tuck and liposuction. Interestingly, this is the selling point and kind of like a marketing hook that many of these surgeons use to attract ladies to perform the process.
Another fat treatment that gets a lot of media attention is coolsculpting which I think basically an upgraded version of laser lipo or smart lipo. If you have been doing sit ups, high intensity training, or jumping jack but you don't see your waistline trimming, you want this. Mehh...The way coolsculpting works is that by freezing your fat therefore theoretically only affect your fat cells before it dumps away in the next few months by our natural immune system. Again if you weigh yourself before and after you may lose like 2 kg which is pretty impressive and the cost of this is around 4000 SGD. In short, cheaper and most effective. The should ask question. Can we sustain the result? Short answer is No. Because the concept is no different then the latter we discussed, it's only water weight. I bet you can achieve the same result with diet protocol like intermittent fasting (IF) in 30 days; during the first week your body will produce less insulin therefore less water is retained and you will see that scale moving to the left.
I'm not judging anyone here, but I'll put it here for some food for thought. Maybe this will give you something to think about.
